OUR MENTORS
A deep debt and salute is owed to the brilliant and dedicated Langston faculty, staff and administrators, some of whom are
pictured below. They are cherished for imparting knowledge, skills and expertise in their various fields of study that enabled
Langston students to learn and live productive and accomplished lives. They were all proud graduates of
America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
The Langston Concert Band, under the direction of Robert
Hickson, played and students sang and gave honor to their
teachers in 1970, the last year of Langston High School.
Carnations were given to all teachers by members of
the Future Teachers of America (F.T.A.)
